Sex Scenes in ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ (2021)

You’ve gone too far this time, Prime TV.

Generally speaking, I Know What You Did Last Summer isn’t the kind of show I typically gravitate towards, but I landed on it somehow nonetheless.

And it’s really hard to tell nowadays when starting a new television series just how graphic it’s going to be.

Content ratings are completely unreliable at this point because, in my opinion, what’s categorized as ‘heinous’ or ‘lewd’ subject matter is different for each individual person…

Someone who may be interested in passionate love-making scenes that push the BDSM boundaries may not like witnessing violence. Or someone who loves a lot of action and fighting, may not be interested in passionate, cinematic love-making.

I myself, prefer the former to the latter.

Although everyone has different tastes, I think we can all agree that if we’re are tuning in to a series with a mature content rating, we’re kind of expecting (maybe even looking for) at least one of the aforementioned sins.

Commonly, one will come hand in hand with another, if not many.

Sex, drugs, and violence have pretty much come synonymous and mature-rated shows in this day in age usually have no shortage of these ‘reckless behaviours’.

The 2021 adaptation of ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ is no different.
